1. Who this applies to
Zymbler processes two kinds of personal data:
- Account data — about people who sign up for Zymbler (workspace owners, sales reps, admins).
- Lead data — about end users whose conversations, messages, or form submissions are sent to Zymbler by one of our customers, including data received via Meta integrations (Facebook Pages, Instagram, WhatsApp Business Platform).
Both are covered by this process. Read the section that applies to you.
2. If you are a Zymbler account holder
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us from the address registered with your Zymbler workspace:
- Send a message to support@zymbler.com with the subject line
Data deletion request. - In the body, include:
- The email address and workspace name on your account.
- Whether you want to delete the entire workspace (everything — your account, your team, all leads and conversations) or just your individual user account within a workspace owned by someone else.
- We'll acknowledge within 3 business days, verify the request comes from the account owner, and complete the deletion within 30 days.
A self-serve "Delete workspace" button inside the Zymbler app is on the roadmap. Until it ships, the email process above is the official path and is honoured with the same 30-day SLA.
3. If you are an end user / lead
If you contacted a business that uses Zymbler (for example, you sent a message to their WhatsApp number, replied to their Instagram story, or filled out a Facebook lead form), your data is held by Zymbler on behalf of that business, who is the data controller.
You can either:
- Contact the business directly — they can delete your record from inside Zymbler immediately.
- Email us at support@zymbler.com with the subject line
End-user data deletion request. Include:- The phone number, email, or social handle you used.
- The business you were in touch with (if you remember).
- Any reference numbers from the conversation.
We will forward verified requests to the business that controls your data and confirm completion within 30 days.
4. Data received via Meta integrations
When you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp Business number to Zymbler, we receive messages, lead-form submissions, and profile metadata from Meta's APIs. To delete that data:
- To stop further data from being shared with Zymbler: remove the Zymbler integration from Meta. For Facebook/Instagram, visit Facebook Settings → Business Integrations and remove Zymbler. For WhatsApp, manage in the WhatsApp Manager under your Meta Business Account.
- To delete data we already received: follow the steps in Sections 2 or 3 above. We will delete the relevant records within 30 days, including any messages, lead-form payloads, and derived analytics tied to your identifiers.
5. What gets deleted
- Account credentials and profile data.
- Workspace configuration, flows, and integrations.
- Conversation history (messages, attachments, transcripts).
- Lead records, qualification data, and AI-generated summaries.
- Audit logs tied to your account (after the legal retention period).
6. What we may retain
Even after deletion, we may retain a limited subset of data where required by law or to protect legitimate interests, including:
- Billing and tax records (typically 7 years), as required by tax authorities.
- Records needed to defend or pursue legal claims, for the duration of any applicable limitation period.
- Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be linked back to an identifiable person.
Backups: our encrypted backups roll off within 90 days of deletion. Until they roll off, your data may persist in backup storage but is not accessible to our application or staff in the ordinary course.
7. Timeline
- Acknowledgement — within 3 business days of your request.
- Verification — we may ask for additional information to confirm your identity.
- Completion — within 30 days of verification.
- Backups purged — within 90 days.
8. Your other rights
